WHO AM I

I am Kristin Vela, a certified beautician and aesthetician. I am married to a consecrated Christian man known for mind-blowing surgery skills. We have two beautiful children together. I am excited to share my knowledge, experiences, and love of beauty with you!

I am grateful for all of you who have my back, both on and off the blog.

I know that it will be because I am considering letting go of what is left of my inventory when I give up.

Thank you for always being there for me, and don’t forget to keep that mind/heart connection open.

That I’m okay and that you can come to me when you need help. I have all the answers and that even though life is hard, it’s better than what we get every day.

I can talk to you about anything because I understand how hard it is not to have anyone there for you. And that by talking with you,

I can start to change some of your views about me so that when people walk in the door, they don’t look so surprised but rather like, “wow, he’s open sidebar again.”

As an all-natural guy, I didn’t feel the need to change my look every single day. I never went out of my room without makeup, and I wasn’t a big fan of skincare products/use of them.

My style was more about feeling good and having fun that day than anything else.

When I started feeling overwhelmed by my appearance, I would think about how someone who was better looking than me would feel about themselves and see the beauty in every one or anything.

I realized that there was something important to me about comparison—about being able to look at somebody and see they are body, and I am complete.

It’s like when you’re sitting in your chair, and suddenly, everything around you seems smaller.

I am sure that you are perfect. All you need to do is take the time to present your case. I have seen it in books and movies lately, with people who have been clear about what they mean when they talk about being beautiful.

It is real, and you can feel the love just by looking at me.

The things that frustrated me were the small changes (in time of the day or Kimmel size) in product formulations; it just couldn’t stay put.

It started feeling like a game to me: What will be the next picture? When something doesn’t work right then (or one too many times), there’s nothing more frustrating than trying new concepts to discover that you can’t live with what you have.

It’s about finding an answer that works for us as individuals but not everyone.

I would say that I am quite lucky to have such a talented and dedicated beauty trainer like Laura Claire.

She has helped me in so many ways, both physically and emotionally. She has been able to help me develop my confidence, and it is amazing how she has helped me grow as a person.

I believe that if you want to be beautiful, all you need is to be presentable at all times.
